Today's photographs are from my visit to Sri Someswara temple , Mount Soma which is about 45 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina.This Vedic temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and situated in the beautiful blue ridge mountains of North Carolina .There is also a Hanuman Park behind the Siva temple , Mahanandi Park, Ganga Park , meditation hall and visitor center . It is a scenic drive with lush green fields and mountains to get to the temple . Being there is very peaceful, serene, brings spiritual happiness and is one of the most beautiful temples I have visited .It is also believed to be one of the first temples in US with 100% 'Vaastu' (science of architecture) which is very rare. They also have over night accommodations near the temple . Visit during the fall is particularly recommended for the fall colors .Hope you enjoy viewing these clicks :
