Getting old is but inevitable .I'm sure most of us have heard of "age is nothing but a number" and " young at heart " and so on when we talk about growing old .“Age is no barrier. It’s a limitation you put on your mind.” ~Jackie Joyner-Kersee. This quote cannot be emphasized more and has been proven many a times .We have heard of innumerable inspiring stories of how people survive all odds .Their age was never a hurdle or restriction to fulfill their dreams and passions .
A higher age number should never deter and weigh down your spirits .It is a limitation that you impose on yourself .In fact, look at the many positive outcomes of growing old .With age comes experience , knowledge, wisdom and most importantly patience .If one strives to maintain a healthy life style, has a never ending curiosity to learn new things, enthusiasm and excitement for little things and achievements in life , expresses gratitude , and serves the under privileged, their life is worth living and interesting, no matter the age! There are so many things to learn and do, that it almost seems like there is not enough time for everything .
It is true the that the physical challenges of ageing are many .It is bound to have impacts and changes on the external looks and health related issues of ageing ,which is quite natural .However, welcoming and accepting the joys of growing old gracefully and keeping spirits young is a choice we make and it is absolutely under our control .
Hope you enjoy these uplifting quotes on ageing gracefully. They are wonderful reminders to live life to the fullest .

These are fantastic! I especially like the Jackie Joyner-Kersee one, I do think there's a big mental barrier & social meaning attached to birthdays and ages, which are just numbers. In some cultures they see ageing far more as a blessing, not something wrought with limitations and anxiety. Love this post!!
Thank you Caz. I agree that quote is truly very empowering .It's wonderful to know that there are cultures where it's considered a blessing .It is good to think of it in that way .Appreciate your feedback as always.
There are absolutely beautiful and so true!👏👏
Thank you so much dear Richa and am glad it resonates with you as well.
