Carrot Halwa (Pudding)

Carrot Halwa or Pudding is a delicious dessert for any occasion or celebration. This is usually loved by one and all and very simple to make. We all know the great benefits of carrots. It is also a good way to get picky kids and eaters to have carrots in their diet .

Reducing the milk in the microwave for this recipe, is a trick I recently got to know .It not only saves the cooking time and mess, but also avoids baby sitting the carrots and milk while cooking .It is also the best away to avoid the carrots from getting completely mushed up. So if you have some carrots and milk lying aside do try out this delicious dessert and impress your holiday guests .Hope you all have been having a great holiday season .It has been a busy time at my end as well and hoping to blog more often.

This delicious dessert can also be served with a dollop of ice cream and garnished with nuts of your choice . Please read on for the full recipe.

Carrot halwa looks so beautiful & yummy! I totally agree with you that it is less messy and also easier to reduce the milk in a microwave oven.
