Baked Salmon with a tandoori masala , yogurt and ginger garlic paste marinade

Ingredients
  • 1 salmon fillet big
For Marinade
  • 2 tbsp yogurt plain
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Tandoori Masala powder store bought (Shaan)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • 1 lemon
Instructions
  1. Wash the salmon fillet with salt and water and pat it dry

  2. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and apply it on the fish. Transfer to a baking aluminum tray covered with foil .

  3. Spray it with cooking oil 

  4. Keep the marinated salmon  in the refrigerator for about 4 to 6 hours

  5. Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees

  6. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes . 

  7. Once it is done ,spray some more cooking spray and set the oven to broil for about 5 to 7 minutes until the top layer gets a nice color.

  8. Serve with lemon, cut onions  and white rice . Enjoy!
