A delicious stir fry made with asparagus , garlic and dry red chillies

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  1. Clean the asparagus by cutting 1 inch from the bottom and peeling off any hard skin 

  2. cut into long pieces about 2 inches long

  3. Take a pan with a little vegetable oil

  4. Add cumin seeds

  5. Add onions , garlic and dry red chillies and sautee

  6. Add turmeric powder and then the asparagus

  7. Add salt and stir fry 

  8. Cover with a lid and cook till done. Take care not to overcook

  9. Asparagus stir fry is ready to be served
