Add the rava (semolina) with the remaining ghee and roast for about 6 to 7 minutes
Add the grated coconut and roast for about another 2 minutes
Add the sugar and mix well for another 2 minutes
Add the cardamom powder and mix well
Transfer into a flat plate or bowl and let it cool for about 2 minutes
Add the milk all over the mixture evenly
Mix with your hands and while it is still warm take a handful and make small balls using your palms
Store it in an air tight container or refrigerator and consume within two to three days.
Notes
Reduce sugar to ¾ cup from 1 cup or your liking.
Take care while roasting semolina , it should be even and using a medium flame so that it is not burnt or browned.
If you have trouble binding the mixture into a round shape, add a little more milk so the consistency is like wet sand, and keep rolling until you get a smooth round shape.
