Today's captures are from the beautiful and quiet Atlantic beach. Atlantic Beach is part of North Carolina's Southern Outer banks or "Crystal Coast" which is 85 miles of beaches. It gets the name "Crystal Coast" due to it's extremely clear waters and brilliant white beaches .It is home to many beaches and a popular seaside vacation town .The other beaches of the crystal coast are Fort Macon, Atlantic beach, Pine knoll shores, Indian beach and Emerald Isle all within short distance from each other.A barrier island bordered by the Atlantic ocean on one hand and the Bogue sound, Atlantic Beach is a perfect vacation destination for relaxation. There are many public beach accesses across the highway with parking availability.Beautiful sunsets ,white sandy beaches, fishing, water sport activities, surfing, scuba diving attracts visitors here. Other places of interest nearby are Fort Macon state park, a site of major battle in Civil war, Cape Lookout Lighthouse,NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll shores and Maritime museums among others.Hope you enjoy these clicks.
The beaches are very quiet . Many beaches have public access and this was one of the quiet ones we stopped by.
Scenic ocean front view of the board walk - a nice place to walk ,watch the ocean waters and waves, sunsets and sunrises.Occasionally one can even spot sharks in the early mornings.
