Photos of the day - Roses

Today's photographs are the beautiful roses from my garden. Although we do not have many rose bushes and intend to plant some this season, the few that we have are suddenly blooming. It is a delight to see these beauties. Finally it looks like  spring has arrived !I  used a prime lens ,EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens , one of the most popular and affordable lens for these captures and have been experimenting with it.

It is exciting to get beautiful bokehs with the lower f-stop values setting on the camera .However one thing I need to get used to, is getting very close to the subject as there is not much one can  zoom with this lens. The other is avoiding blur on the main image being captured. Well, I guess that will take some constant practice :).  Hope you enjoy these clicks.
