Why you will love this dish?

    • A great-tasting rice dish that has a predominant taste of Thai basil leaves. The sauces, chicken, and veggies with basil are a great combination that will make your tastebuds happy.
    • The vegetarian version can be made by replacing the chicken with Tofu or just making it with veggies. The fish and oyster sauce is required in the original recipe but you can skip it if you are not a big fan of it.
    • This dish is also easy to make and the main effort is chopping all the veggies. You can always use frozen chopped veggies which will make it easier.
    • Can be a quick meal if you have leftover chilled rice and want to make something fast that tastes great.
    • Great for lunchboxes and picnics.

I have found a Thai eatery nearby but they use fish sauce too liberally (wrinkles nose) so I cannot wait to get started in our own kitchen soon 😉
