How to make Creamy Chicken Alfredo pasta
You can use Penne, Farfalle, Fettuccine, or any other similar pasta of your choice for this recipe. When cooking pasta, it is preferable to boil it in salt water with a drop of oil. Cook it al dente as in the instructions on the packet, which is usually 10 to 12 minutes. Rinse it in cold water so it stops cooking after that.
To make the Alfredo sauce quickly, Steps 1-4) saute all-purpose flour with butter for a while, and add milk. Cook it till it thickens.
Steps 5-7) Add a little flour to cold milk and mix well, and add it to the sauce. Add black pepper and any other spices that you like. Step 8 ) Get the cooked pasta ready to mix into the sauce.
Steps 9-10)Add the pasta to the white sauce and top it with mozzarella cheese. Feel free to make it rich and thick by adding whipping cream and cream cheese. The sauce can also be flavored with fried chopped garlic, garlic powder, and dried oregano. I only use black powder in my preparation.
Chicken preparation for Creamy Chicken Alfredo pasta
The boneless chicken breast is a good choice for this dish. Place it in a ziplock bag and pound it well to flatten it up. This helps in even and easy cooking. Later, rub the chicken fillet with black pepper powder, garlic powder, chili flakes, and salt.
Alternatively, you can also add Cajun spices if you like. Keep it refrigerated for about an hour for marination, back in the plastic bag.
Serve with garlic bread
Garlic bread is very easy to make with store-bought bread. Use French bread or Ciabatta bread and top it with butter. The butter is melted and flavored with chopped garlic, garlic salt, and parsley. Bake it in the oven for 10 minutes or until the top gets browned using the broil option, and serve it warm.
