Keysearch.co Review - What is Keysearch.co? Keysearch.co is a very useful and affordable tool for keyword research and analysis. It is basically used to find keywords and phrases that people are usually searching for. To be more precise, it can help find keywords with high volume searches together with a low score (lower the score, higher the rank) among many other uses. You can also get competitive analysis of your competitors, backlinks information, track your rankings, and much more using this tool. It has also many efficient built-in tools like explorer tool, content assistant, and brainstorm tool, details of which will follow in other sections.
Google Keyword Planner, UberSuggest, Semrush, Ahrefs are some of the known keyword research tools. Some are free tools but will not give that many informative in-depth details. The others which have great details are quite expensive.Keysearch.co is a wonderful choice among these tools and a steal for the price and functionality combined. They have a free trial edition for a month with limited searches per day if you want to try it out. After that, you can sign up for a monthly fee of 17$ or a yearly fee of 169$
Google Keyword Planner was my first choice for a keyword research tool as it is free and simple to use. I was able to improve some of the rankings of my older posts and rank for some on the first three pages for new posts. However, it has not been consistent at all times. I had heard a lot of good things about Keysearch.co from my fellow bloggers and blogging Facebook groups. The best part of the tool is how affordable it is, along with what it can do and return in terms of keyword research and analysis.
Why do you need keywords for your post?
Every blogger strives to create engaging content and aspires to reach a maximum audience. The solution is to use search engine optimization (SEO) techniques for your website and content. Using efficient keywords for your post is one of the important SEO techniques among others. Search engine algorithms rank your content based on the "keywords" used. So it is important that you do thorough keyword research, analysis and use the right keyword for your post. A higher rank will help your content show up in the first few pages of SERPs(Search engine Results Page) and stand a higher chance of reaching many viewers.
How to use Keysearch.co tool for Keyword research?
Keyword Research to find keywords
Once you log in to the Keysearch.co tool, navigate to "Keyword Research" in the highlighted menu. Enter the keyword you plan to use, for example, "brownies with almond flour". The graph below will give the search trends in the past year. You can use that information when planning the keyword to use.
The sites using similar keywords along with their domain authority and page authority are listed as well. This can give an idea of how well you will rank for those keywords. On the right-hand side window, the details of related keywords are listed. The main columns to look for are "volume" and "score". Volume tells how many users are searching or looking for that keyword and score tells how competitive the word is. The choice should be of a combination of high volume value but with a less to medium score so competition is less. The score can be interpreted as how easy or difficult the keyword is to rank as follows: 19 and below: Easy, 20 to 29: Fairly Easy, 30 to 39: Easy-Moderate 40 to 49, Moderate 50 and above: Hard
For new bloggers, it is better to use Long-tail keywords (longer search phrases) as they have high conversion value and are easier to compete for.
Explorer - To know more about any site
Next to keyword research is "Explorer". This gives great detail of information about your domain or a specific page on your site. Click on Explorer and enter the domain name or a specific page and choose the option "entire domain" from the drop-down or a "page name" respectively. This will display a page similar to the image below with a list of organic keywords that you rank for. It also gives detailed backlink information, along with referring domains. The "score to target" number (highlighted below) gives an idea of the score value to target when you choose your keyword. You can also sort the organic keywords by position and domain. This can also be used to study details of a competitor site in your niche.
Competitor Analysis
Navigate to Competitor Analysis and Organic Keywords. Here you can enter the URL of a competitor site to learn more details on what keywords they are ranking for and the search volume. This can help in your own strategy for keyword research and perhaps get a share of the audience in the same niche. There is an option to export to a csv or pdf file as well.
Rank Tracking
This option can be used for monitoring how your blog is doing. It keeps track of all the keywords that you rank for and shows how they fare over a period of time. Navigate to Rank Tracking and enter your domain name and upload your keywords. It lists information about the rank, change (in position), and volume of the keywords. You can export this list and keep track of how the keywords fare and if they improve over time or need to be revisited in case ranking drops.
Check your backlinks
The higher the number of backlinks (other sites linking to your site), the higher your site will be ranked by the search engines. The backlinks imply how trustworthy your site is. It is important that the backlinks are do-follow. It can be compared to a vote of confidence from other sites to the search engines that your content is good and useful. You can analyze your backlink information from the Explorer or Competitive Analysis -> Backlink Checker
Content Assistant Tool
This is a very useful tool to improve the content of your article. You can access the tool by navigating to More Tools -> Content Assistant. Enter the keyword on the text field of the left window and click on the Search button.
- The Main tab on the right-hand side window will give the search volume of the keyword, the average word count of similar articles using the same keyword. This can help you target a similar word count for your article.
- It also lists Recommended Keywords, Must keywords and related keywords (LSI words) used by similar articles on the 1st page.
- The Must words are also displayed in orange and when you can add the words to your article you will see that they turn into blue.
- You can even cut-paste your entire article on the left-hand side window and make changes to include the must words on the right-hand side .
- The questions tab will display what queries folks are searching for so you can use them in your H2 and H3(subheadings).
Brainstorm Tool
This is yet another great way to get a keyword or content idea. Navigate to Keyword Research -> Brainstorm. This will give keyword information on Google trends, Twitter trends, products on amazon. The Keywords people are searching for on search engines like Yahoo, Bing, Google, and others.
As you can see there's so much one can do using this wonderful keyword research tool. Leveraging this tool will certainly help rank your content higher by search engines, reach a wider audience, and grow your website. This tool is especially helpful for beginner bloggers on a budget as it is affordable as well.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!

I've been trying to find something that would help me when selecting keywords. This sounds interesting although I'm not sure I'd use it enough to justify paying a fee.
