It has been a trend from time immemorial, for most of us humans to seek happiness. Look around, and you will find most of pursuing something or other in hopes of finding happiness. We don't realize and need to remind ourselves that happiness lies right within us. It is true we can't prevent failures, disappointments, grief in life. They can momentarily steal our happiness and are part and parcel of life.
Nevertheless, we possess the power to choose what to accept and let go. Realizing that we have the indomitable power to make ourselves feel good and happy is empowering and liberating." People wait all week for Friday, all year for summer, all life for happiness" says an unknown author, How true! It seems like everyone is on an unending quest to find happiness, possessions, and all the glitter in the world.
Sadly most of us spend our entire life looking for it ."Most of us are just about as happy as we make up our minds to be."- William Adams. True Happiness can be attained by believing and making up our minds to be happy. It lies in simple things like pursuing what you like to do, working towards your goal, being grateful for what you already have, helping people in need, and making others happy. So definitely it isn't something we need to go explore and seeking. All we need is to recognize and appreciate what we have and live in the moment!

I really love that quote by Roy J. Bennett! One of my favorite quotes is "It's not happy people who are thankful, it's thankful people who are happy". This post is such a welcome reminder to find happiness wherever you can 🙂
