Almond flour coconut oil chocolate chip cookie was a recent find for me.I had heard so much about almond flour from friends and blogger friends that I could not resist picking up a bag from the store. There are so many recipes out there that you can use almond flour with. So, I began my trials with it. The outcome of baking with it was simply awesome, the cookies and brownies especially had a wonderful soft texture. Everyone who had them liked and appreciated them! I would highly recommend baking with it.
Almond flour, as you may know, is a popular alternative to wheat flour, widely used in baking and cooking. For those who have not heard of it, almond flour is made using blanched almonds which are then peeled, dried, and powdered. It is especially popular being low in carbohydrates, rich in protein, fibers, and gluten-free.
The almond flour coconut oil chocolate chip cookie made using this recipe are a little soft compared to the ones made with regular all-purpose flour. They however taste really good. I'm usually not a cookie fan but this one is an exception and I can not seem to resist eating them :).They almost taste like an Indian sweet called 'burfi'.It goes best with a cup of your evening tea or coffee. Read on for the full recipe on how to make this delicious dessert. If you have any other favorites to make out of almond flour, I would love to hear in the comments. Happy Baking, enjoy!
