- Step 1: Chop all the veggies

Add chopped garlic, dried red chilies, and onions. Add a touch of turmeric and salt, then cook on a low flame, covered, until perfectly done.

- Step 3: Add red chilies and chopped garlic, sautee for a bit, then add chopped onions.

- Step 4: Add turmeric and salt.
If you prefer a bit of crunch, switch off the heat a little earlier.

- Step 6: After about 8 to 10 minutes, it should be cooked and ready.

Once done, serve it into a serving bowl and enjoy!
Useful Tips
- There's an interesting fact about cleaning the asparagus. It has a hard stalk at the end, and many prefer to cut off an inch below before cooking. It is edible, but it is removed to avoid the chewy taste. One can even peel off the skin at the bottom.
- Be sure to trim or peel the tough ends for the best texture. I like to cut the spears into two-inch pieces for easy cooking.
- You can also stop the cooking process earlier if you like a little crunch in your asparagus.
- You can make it even simpler by just sauteeing garlic and red chilies, and asparagus in a little oil, which gets done in no time
