Air fryer corn - If you haven’t tried making corn in an air fryer yet, you’re in for a real treat. With minimal effort, this simple method transforms fresh corn on the cob into a crispy, juicy delight. No more babysitting over a stovetop flame, boiling pot, or grill. You get all the flavor, texture, and satisfaction without the fuss. Trust me, once you try this, there’s no going back.

    Ingredients needed

    Ingredients for air fryer corn.
    • Fresh corn or Frozen - I used fresh one de-husked from the grocery store. If using a frozen one, it may need a little more time to cook than the fresh one.
    • Organic butter is melted so it can be easily brushed.
    • Black pepper and salt to taste.

    Why you will love this?

    • Hassle-free and done quickly using the air-fryer, no need to watch over it while cooking.
    • Tastes delicious, the kernels are soft and charred up exactly right.
    • Great when you have guests at get-togethers, parties, and barbeques and need some side dishes done without much effort. Some other dishes that can be served on the side are Tandoori chicken baked, Tandoori Baked Salmon, Ghee rice (nei chor), and if you plan to serve gravies, veggie malai kofta, chicken tikka masala, Pindi chole kashmiri chicken recipe, and curried chicken with coconut milk are always a hit.

How to make Air Fryer corn?

Start by removing the husk and cleaning up any excess fibers that hang out. Wash it well and pat it dry with a paper towel or washcloth. Gather all the ingredients. Next, melt some butter and add salt and pepper to it.

    1. Step 3: Brush the butter mixture all over and use a pastry brush to do the same.

    1. Step 5: Preheat the air-fryer to 370 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes and set the turn mid-way option on. Set the cooking time for 15 minutes. At around 7 minutes, the air-fryer will prompt you to turn it over.
    1. Step 6: Continue to cook till the rest of the total minutes are reached, and that's it, you are done and ready to serve.

    Useful Tips

    • You can get creative and add paprika or any tangy spices you like to the melted butter mixture. I only add salt and pepper as mentioned in this recipe when I make it.
    • Make sure to have enough space between the corns in the air fryer so that air can flow and they are air-fried well.
    • Use tongs to turn it over. Brush some more butter mixture coating if you like, so that it retains the moisture.
    • You can coat another brush of the butter bast before serving. Enjoy!
    • Any leftovers from this preparation can be used in soups, salads, fried rice, or side dishes. If you use frozen ones in the air fryer, thaw them to room temperature first and then air-fry.

Some other air fryer recipes that can be served along with the air-fried corn are air-fried chicken Tikka and air-fried sabudana vada (sago pearls patties). They would make nice appetizers at a get-together or picnic.

As much as we love corn, I have yet tried air fryer corn. Now since seeing this post I'm going to try out your recipe very soon. I thought the air fryer would dry it out.
