Moist Chocolate Banana bread - Banana bread is a favorite snack anytime and especially goes well with coffee or tea. I posted a recipe for regular banana bread with nuts long ago for which I got great reviews and have always followed that no-fail recipe. Recently I tried a variation of the bread with chocolate chips and some variation in the ingredients. The result was a delicious chocolate banana bread that turned out great.
Why you will love the moist chocolate banana bread?
- This moist and tasty bread is a chocolate lover's delight. I used granulated sugar for this recipe, but using brown sugar will make the bread even more moist.
- I also used a combination of all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour. You could use only all-purpose flour as well for this recipe and it will turn out great.
- Plain banana bread may be boring adding chocolate to it makes it like a dessert.
- Great for kids' lunch boxes, picnics and get-togethers.
Ingredients needed
All-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, cocoa powder - Main dry ingredients
Baking powder and salt - Whisk with the dry ingredients
Organic unsalted butter
granulated sugar or brown sugar
Bananas ripe and sweet
Eggs organic
Vanilla extract
Chocolate chips - Use semi-sweet or sweet
Walnuts halved and toasted
